Situated next to the Costa Tropical’s only golf course, Los Moriscos, Playa de Granada is a long narrow semi-urban beach. It is relatively quiet and has lots of free parking and is very quick to access from the main road.
There are many restaurants and night club beaches and a water sport centre (including windsurfing called AWA- there is a link in the link page)
A good restaurant (not cheap) is called Restaurant Catena with good sea food.
Also just before Playa Granada there is a large Caravan and trailer park.
To get to this beach, if you are coming from our Cortijos Rey Fini then when you get to the roundabout in Motril follow the sihn to the “Puerto” or Port. When you get to the beach then turn right and keep driving towards Saloborena till you see the sign for playa Granada.
