Wow… 2nd time we live the “Rey Fini” cortijos experience in April, the beginning of the season. Well, in fact, we’d love to live this experience each season of the year, we really love this place and their hosts, Mo & Lucy. You get everything there : wonderful Cortijos, nature, villages (Trevelez, Busquistar, Pampaneira, Bubion, Capileira), history, culture, mountain, sea (if you don’t mind zigzaging through the moutains).

Mo, Lucy : thanks again !

OK, so it’s our seventh visit in as many years, so we must enjoy our time at Cortijos Fini. Something about the location, the atmosphere, the pool, the friendliness, the cherries, the ……., well, so much, draws us back here.
Thanks, Mo and Lu, for giving us such a special time every time.
Hasta luego,
Geoff and Dee xx

This week at the Cortijos Rey Fini was a delight for the 9 people who stayed there. Everything was just perfect: the beauty of the site, the equipment of the Cortijos, the taste & quality of the renewals and the material used… and of course Mo & Lucy’s kindness.
If you like the photos of this website, be sure they are below reality, which is not often the case.
Thanks a gain Mo & Lucy, be sure we’ll come back

We didn’t meet and only had very nice contact by email, but our 4 day stay at the almond cortijo was wonderful. It feels a bit strange to walk into a house when nobody is around but David came to say Hello and so we knew that we could contact him if we had questions.
We enjoyed every minute of those 4 days. The weather was sunny at daytime and cold when the sun set. It felt so good to have breakfast sitting on the wall of the terrace in the sun and look in the distance and hear nothing except a cuckoo. The cosy almond cortijo felt like a warm coat and the nights were so quiet and dark. We have slept very well.
But most of all we felt so relaxed, reading a book, swimming in the swimming pool, watching the tomtit ( small bird with a yellow breast ) who had made a nest in one of the three pots above the door and was busy to feed the yong ones.
The tip to go early to the Alhambra was a good one. We didn’t have any trouble to get a ticket and is was a great experience.
We did some nice walks and the Alpujarras are really beautiful during this time of the year with all the flowers.
I am sure that this stay will not be the last and that one day we will return and enjoy the Alpujarras and the Cortijos Rey Fini again.
Hope to meet you and your family then,
Regards Berry and Irene
