This beach is several hundred yards after Tunel Cerro Gordo where again you will have to leave your car in the car park provided and catch the National Park minibus down to the beach. There is a restaurant on the beach but it requires a bit more competition to improve its service and food. We recommend you take your cold box and fill it up with cold drinks, bread, jamon and cheese instead. Beyond El Canuelo you will find many small beaches where you will have to leave your car behind and walk down.
Just several kilometres from El Canuelo is Cala de Pino beach. You can leave your car up next to the road and walk down as there is no access by car to the beach. There are no facilities at all on the beach so take what is needed for the time you are on the beach especially sufficient drinking water.
