In Pitres on the main road through the village you will find a restaurant called La Oveja Verde, on the left hand side if you are driving from the cortijos. This is a pizzeria although they also serve a range of other local traditional food
Just beyond this on the other side of the road is a cafe called La Terraza where they make their own chocolate – you can buy the chocolate which is delicious or stop and have a drink on the terrace.
There are also various bars situated around the main plaza in Pitres all of which offer tapas.
Portugos has various bars offering tapas and there are restaurants in the Hotel Nuvevo Malagueno andMirador de Portugos (in the plaza).
