Cherries grow all around the Alpujarra both wild and cultivated. They are normally ready from May to the end of June.

If you walk straight from the cortijos and beyond the camino forestal towards Mulhacen you will find amazing views.
Some 5 km from the Cortijos and camino forestal towards Capileira you will find canyons and gorges.
