Cherry tomatoes grown locally for export to England. During the summer months tomatoes are grown throughout the region and are an important source of work and income.

Our next door neighbours run a riding school and you can join them for a day, a few hours or a week. For more information see our Links page.

Straight from the cortijos up towards the mountain is excellent for walking with panoramic views of the south towards the mediterranean sea.

Cooking paella, a traditional spanish food with a mixture of seafood, chicken and often pork used as a base.

Two of the residents of the cortijos rey fini who spend much of their lives in the wild.

One of the many ancient sweet chestnut trees on our land. Try them if you are around during November and December.

Traditional irrigation which still remains from the Moors era is being renovated by the Fini family.

Cherry trees are one of the most common trees which grow in that altitude and they flower during March and April each year.

Cherries grow all around the Alpujarra both wild and cultivated. They are normally ready from May to the end of June.

If you walk straight from the cortijos and beyond the camino forestal towards Mulhacen you will find amazing views.

Some 5 km from the Cortijos and camino forestal towards Capileira you will find canyons and gorges.
